Abstract Beth Joseph Congregation (Denver, Colo.) was incorporated in 1921. It named after Joseph Mandel, father-in-law of philanthropist Isadore Rude, who helped the Congregation acquire the Curtis Street Synagogue. In 1987, Beth Joseph joined with Beth HaMedrosh Hagoldol to form the BMH-BJ Congregation. Mt. Abstract Rabbi Daniel Goldberger (1924-2007) was a prominent individual in the Denver Jewish community. He married Ida Goldberger (1924- ) in 1947. Daniel Goldberger was born in New York City and received his and Master's degree from the University of Chicago in 1950. Goldberger was a member of the first Jewish-Catholic interfaith dialogue, and was very active in both Jewish and non-Jewish community organizations.
